Hanover, officially the Republic of Hanover, was a sovereign nation located in Central Europe that would end up participating in the Third Mexican-American War. Created after the dissolution of Germany, Hanover bordered Denmark to the north, Netherlands to the west, Bradenburg to the east, Saxony to the southeast, and Rhineland to the south. The main ethnic group of Hanover were German's, with small populative pockets of Dutch and Danish. The main religion is Protestantism and Christianity, with a plurality of Islamic and generally non-religious citizens. The official language of Hanover is German.
