The New Voyager is a planned series of next-generation interstellar spacecraft under construction by NASA. Unlike all previous warp capable spacecraft, the New Voyager will use artificial-gravity to generate its warp field and will be powered primarily by energy quantum teleported from the Sol Dyson swarm, allowing it to achieve the largest warp-field size yet, an unprecedented 400 meters with a top cruising effective speed of approximately 700 times the speed of light.
The New Voyageris by far the most ambitious warp-capable space program in history, with NASA having announced plans to build 100 hulls to help enable the colonization of Alpha Centauri and ease travel between Earth and the exosolar Associated states.
