Russia, officially the Russian Republic, was a sovereign nation in Europe that existed from 2029 to 2138, collapsing as a result of the Intermarium defeat in the Third Mexican-American War. Founded following the collapse of the Union State and Russia's balkanization at the end of the Little Cold War, the Russian Republic was a federal semi-presidential constitutional republic bordered by Karelia, Nenetsia, and Finland to the north, Ural Republic to the east, Don Republic, Samara Republic, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan to the south, and Ukraine and Poland to the west. The official language of Russia is Russian. The primary religion practiced in the Russian Republic is Eastern Orthodox, although there is no official religion in Russia. The capital of Russia, Moscow, is renowned as one the of the largest and most urbanized capitals in the world, with other large cities including Novgorod and Kazan.
