The Second Great War of Tel-Ma was a global war on Tel-ma that lasted from 2075 to 2087, although related conflicts began earlier and some factions had continued to fight all the way up to First Contact. It involved the vast majority of the Tel-ma's countries—including all of the great powers—eventually forming two opposing military alliances. It was the most widespread war in Tel-ma's history, and brought much of the planet to a state of total war, erasing the distinction between civilian and military resources. The war was marked by saturation bombing, and the use of nuclear and chemical warfare, the conflict ultimately led to the near extinction of the Tel-bn.
